Theatre Bizarre encourages event participants to take photographs or videos for personal use. Due to increased media exposure we have noticed an increase in the number of professional photographers crowding onto the stages to take photos and blocking the rows directly in front of the stages. To ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone, we enforce the following guidelines:
Hand-held, self-contained photography and video equipment is fine under all circumstances.
Please refrain from using flash when taking photographs. We find the use of flash not only results in flat, undesirable photos due to the nature of the event lighting, it is also highly unpleasant for other patrons as well as incredibly distracting and disruptive to our performers.
Use of additional equipment (tripods, lights, detachable lenses etc.) requires an approved media pass. Building and event security will not permit you to enter the venue with this kind of equipment if you are not in possession of a valid media pass.
The individual or party who requests the media pass is responsible for all equipment brought to the venue.
No professional audio recording devices are allowed at anytime.
Filling out this application does not guarantee you will be awarded a media pass. You will be contacted upon approval. This Media Pass does not grant access to any backstage or staff rooms and does not include entry to the event. You must still be a ticket holder to gain entry.
Sorry, we have not yet started accepting Media Pass submissions for this year. If you have any questions please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
